Wow, outstanding @ 560mm.

I'm curious what you're using for post processing.

When you see my camera gear you'll think I'm a pro.
When you see my photos you'll know that I'm not.

Just upgrading from a 7DMKII to a 1DXMKII cost me two weeks salary. I'll set aside any thoughts of buying a plane and stick with my Prius for a now.

At the tender age of 81 years old, Chris Sperou is still thrilling crowds and pulling more negative G during his routines than many pilots half his age. TyabbAirshow 8.3.2020

These are wonderful, and a great tribute to the pilot.

There's only two Hurricanes I know of on this side of the pond and they're both in museums.

Thanks! I use Lightroom Classic. It was a perfect day that day with the late evening sun and a beautiful blue sky which helped!

I would think supply vs demand would be a big factor. Also, winners vs losers. I would suspect that original Third Reich airplanes (speaking mainly fighters or bombers, not transports) or Japanese aircraft would be extremely rare, and thus expensive to buy and operate.

That’s exactly right. There is only one actual wartime Messerschmitt BF-109 E flying in the UK. However there are several Hispano HA-1112-M1L Buchons which are the later Spanish built version which had the Merlin engine fitted. Most of these were acquired for the 1969 film The Battle of Britain which are in the picture below.

Thanks! No it was an all day event, Summer 2018. They had a huge selection of aircraft flying - a brilliant day.

I love the ‘well used’ paint scheme on this. I think it was done for a film, possibly Dunkirk, it was appearing in. Unfortunately now it has been repainted as Yellow 10 the role it had in the Battle of Britain film.
