Just upgrading from a 7DMKII to a 1DXMKII cost me two weeks salary. I'll set aside any thoughts of buying a plane and stick with my Prius for a now.

No Hurricanes for me but these are at least British and WWII.

There's only two Hurricanes I know of on this side of the pond and they're both in museums.

That’s exactly right. There is only one actual wartime Messerschmitt BF-109 E flying in the UK. However there are several Hispano HA-1112-M1L Buchons which are the later Spanish built version which had the Merlin engine fitted. Most of these were acquired for the 1969 film The Battle of Britain which are in the picture below.

Thanks! No it was an all day event, Summer 2018. They had a huge selection of aircraft flying - a brilliant day.

I love the ‘well used’ paint scheme on this. I think it was done for a film, possibly Dunkirk, it was appearing in. Unfortunately now it has been repainted as Yellow 10 the role it had in the Battle of Britain film.
