The bubbles in the glass look like the focus point. I have no idea why it needed to be shot so shallow, a little more depth would have been nice.

That's the photographer's creative choice, right ? :-)

I like it, personally. To each, their own.

In focus, out of focus, it don't matter. We are talking beer here. After 4 or 5 of those, everything will look a bit out of whack.;-)a

Reminds me of the joking how it also improves the attractiveness of people. :p I've been finishing off some Mother Earth Brewery Primordial, a 9% ABV Imperial Double IPA.

I'm a big fan of two brewery in-house photographers - Mat Trogner (Allagash Brewing) and Phil Cassella (Trillium Brewing). I tend to like the super low DOF stuff - especially on shots I'm creating action in.

A pic for a local micro brewery (unfortunately they only use cans) that they used as an ad for the holidays.

Luckily getting a steady flow of beer work in my state with the virus going on. A couple new ones.

First image is a 5 shot composite to fix some water stains, the position of the bottle I'm holding, the liquid coming out of the bottle, and the glass of beer in the shot.
