First real testing will be my bday weekend Sep/29, very excited. I will be in the Sierra National Forest south of Yosemite at 8,300 feet with a 365* view. There will be no moon the nights I am there.

I am curious if anyone can share images of a stitched sky?

I get some very odd results, would love some feedback.

Curious how you deal with the distortion? I tried a 180* pano.

7 overlapping horizontal frames in portrait orientation. The lens and camera were set level, this was for the land scape and included sky.

Then rotated the camera up roughly 30* and took aprox 12 shots to cover my 180* view to have a lot of overlap.

I then rotated the camera up again roughly 30* and took a deep again.

When put through Photoshop, the image came out a U shape.
