The word "swastika" comes from the ancient Sanskrit svastika. The symbol has been used by many cultures throughout the past 3,000 years to represent life, sun, power, strength and good luck, in many parts of Asia, North America and Europe. It began to be used a lot in Germany in the late 19th Century though it did not become a symbol of naziism and anti-semitism until Hitler appropriated the symbol as a 'logo' of the **** party in the 1920s. Some say the direction of the outer parts of the swastika determine whether it is a symbol of good or bad but this is not true; in ancient times it was drawn both ways and was always a symbol of good.

All of this information is very clearly disseminated across numerous websites, some of which include
the use of K-R-I-T's swastika. But in fact, the symbol's use may go back as far as 9000 years.

My 92 Accord 'Areodeck' ...

Does it have all-wheel steering? Those old Accords are really cool. I saw an older one (80's model) last week, but you almost never see them. They've all rusted away...

here it is, as the official shoulder patch of the 45th Infantry Division from pre-WWII. the 45th was a National Guard unit with troops from Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado...
