PAX, I'm loving the EQ6R-Pro. It is a heavy item to move around, but it runs smooth. I have also changed over to using EQMOD ASCOM for everything, and things like plate solving are the greatest thing since sliced bread. These are all just from my driveway, but I do go to a dark site when I am able. That's where I got my M42 from but I was using my AT65EDQ and the OSC ASI071MC. I have been getting very nice results with a Triad Tri-Band and the ASI071MC too.

NINA, EQMOD, and ASCOM have made things so much more enjoyable. I've been very basic for years with Canon DSLR's and and an intervelometer. Didn't know what I was missing. If I lived at my dark site I would have a pier and a NEXDOME at some point. It's not something I would even consider here at home. I did carry the whole rig in and out the other night, probably 110+ pounds with mount, scope camera and counter weights....I think they'll go in pieces from now on when the bigger scopes are on.
