Covid 19 update
In Nevada, all nonessential businesses are closed for the next 30 days, including all casinos. My wife and I have have been staying home since we arrived from Milan/Venice evening of January 23. Luckily we dodged the bullet, the virus was already there when we left. Sitting on our plane to NYC I saw on the tarmac a South China airline, disembarking more passengers direct from China.

We are preppers so we have enough food, to last two months at least, prescription medicines for 180 days, cleaning stuff including alcohol, oxygen peroxide, chlorine, anti-bacterial soap and when we arrived got 4 x32 oz large bottles of 70% alcohol-based hand sanitizers. We have enough canned goods- meat, veggies, fruits, pasta, flour, rice, canned soups, fish, milk, coffee and meats, frozen veggies in freezers, bottled drinking water although we have reverse osmosis system, have been supplementing with fresh deliveries from Amazon (2 days Whole Foods) and 5 hour deliveries from Costco. I sanitize the deliveries in the garage with alcohol before bring inside the house. Mails are also sanitized with chlorine and sorted in the garage, non important mails are left untouched fr a few days. We have in our preppier stock nitrite gloves and N95 masks. Have enough alcohol drinks but may have to refill my 5 cases of beer by ordering from Costco.

We have been recycling/refreshing our prepper stash for a few years now, we keep them for any emergencies including pandemic. So sad for some of our neighbors now scrambling for their food supplies.

Luckily by the end of January was able to cancel our trip to Portugal from the end of this month to Easter. My granddaughter, just postponed her wedding in Rhode Island from May 31 to November, I still cannot modify the flights as Delta allows modifications for flights up to May 1 only and my flight is May 27.

As elderly couples we have canceled all doctor's appointments, cleaning lady, and no visits at home even my son and his family.

Cheers,
Tony

Here it is next to my current tripod with Markins Q3i ball head. The peak design being carbon is lighter but what’s more impressive is how compact it folds. I’ve never had a tripod fold this compact before. Truly an amazing feat by them. Looking forward to taking this out with the R4 for some landscape shots.

That's pretty sweet! My old Manfrotto 190CX-PRO4 was relatively compact and lightweight when I bought it, but this is on a truly different level. Excuse me for drooling!

I'm actually planning on getting this myself. How do you like it so far? I still shoot 5DIV...

I wish I could tell you I have used it a lot but living in NYC and the center of the COVID problem in our country I have used it very little.

No worries! It’s really a beautifully engineered piece of equipment in person.

Glad to hear from you man! If it was a Sony 85 1.8 I would have scooped it up. The only lens I’m currently market watching for.
