Fantastic capture...gorgeous bird, Shalu!!

Terrific capture, Shalu!! Spot on.

This is an incredibly nice, sharp capture, Shalu. How were you able to stop the wing blur so well at 1/2000 sec.? Did you use flash?

Thank you very much, Mike! I don't have a flash :) The wing blur changes from frame to frame, it is usually less blurry when the wing is at the extreme position.

Thank you for the very nice compliment, Shalu. I've definitely noticed that with birds in flight...when the wings are at extreme positions (up & down), there is less wing blur.

Nest building project.

Fantastic shot of a beautiful bird attending to it's survival needs.
Amazing what they cart about - this one has the heavy timbers and the mattress all in one ;-)a

Mike this is a beauty. Somewhat comical look on the bird
Not sure I've seen one on here in full flight.
The outstretched wings and its forward thrust make an appealing photo

saea501 wrote in post #19045887 (external link)

Beautiful. Simply beautiful.
The colours and the pose really work together to make a fantastic photo.
Very well done

Pied Stilt aka Black Winged Stilt, one evening last spring.

Light on this one too Graham and its flight angle makes this special.
Very nice indeed
