Note: the EXIF info for my recent images shows "Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS". I'm actually shooting an FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS lens. The POTN gear database needs to be updated.

Richard, this shot has a very nice 3D appearance. The composition is quite nice too. Great work on this image.

All are top drawer, Rob! I especially like the goldfinch taking a bath.

What an attractive shot, with lots of mood, Bill. It almost looks like a painting.

One of the Eagles from a lake nearby, they have a nest that has been there for years. In the last few years big money came in and actually put up a building within 100' from the nest. They are still there but due to construction the tree the nest is in is dying, the parking area actually stops 5' from the base of the tree. Damn shame really.... You may ask, how is that possible, say thanks too the US Fish and Wildlife service. They allowed this to happen

Very nicely done portrait shot of the eagle. It's really a shame to hear that the F&W service allowed to happen. I'd love to hear their reasoning behind this.

Nice warbler shots, but they remind me that I’d planned to spend a week on the Texas coast enjoying migration.vmad

Its that time of year.

You walk into the woods and suddenly this guy attacks you for entering his territory.

The Western capercaillie is in heat and chases of every contender human or bird from his area.

Taken with the 1D X Mark III and the 100-400mm v2.
