So I'm home from work for a little while, who knows for how long at this moment so the wifey and I went to the grocery store and I got inspired by those 16th century Dutch painting of fruit and stuff so here is my shot inspired by those paintings.
This consists of two seven shot focus stacked images. One set was exposed "normally" and the other seven shot focus stack was under exposed by a stop to retain the detail in the highlights of the apples. They were then stacked and the under exposed highlights were painted in. Hope that makes some sense.

NICE!...especially given the methodology to accomplish. You must have gotten really bored to put that much effort into it.

Now do it again, but use film! :p

Haha. Thanks Wilt. As much as I like the film days and these fond memories of my 4X5 camera I don't think I'll ever go back. I do miss tilts and shifts though.

If socially isolated and bored, if you cannot play with others by mandate, has it now become acceptable to play with yourself?! :p

In either case, you go mad! (or is that blind?)

I'm just the opposite and have been loving the hell out of this time off. Usually you're working for a vacation, then you're vacation busy. I'm actually sitting around since (checking calendar) 9 MAR and it's GREAT! Getting a lot done while not holding to a schedule is wonderful. I'm only 62 years old, but retirement is looking damned good if work never happens again and I must transition into that. (Almost there!) :)

Sounds good. I'm 58 and looking at retirement in 5 years. Can't wait. I've been home since 3/16, that's when the gallery closed to staff. I'm really not that bored. It comes and goes. Since I'm not essential personnel and I can't do me job from home, to keep us busy we're supposed to do a lot of online training/learning. Which means watching a ton of webinars and youtube Photoshop, CaptureOne and color management videos. That's really the boring part. Stay safe and healthy. Sooner or later this will subside.
