Since I have some time on my hands and the wildflowers are in full swing. These are from a local creek walk in town. These are the two i like the best from just walking around.

All taken with a Canon 60mm macro lens. having the tilting screen on the M5 allows for some very different perspectives (lower than the flower)

Canon M5 with EF-M 15-45. Not safe for me to walk locally because of roaming dogs, so I've been going here. Camera was set to bracket, so processed these in SNS-HDR software.

anyone using the viltrox ef eos m2 speed booster on your M cameras? i just have some concerns:
1) battery drain - i read about the battery drain problem that this adapter causes - drains the battery even when the camera is off but i've also read somewhere (late 2019 post) that the newer batches of this speed booster (S/N: 1205 or higher) fixed it already. can anyone confirm this?
2) infinity focus - does it work? i've read a post that you have to turn the glass to make it work. is this true? and wouldn't that also affect the focus at close distances?

i have the M5 and 50STM and while i couldn't get along with the 50 with the 6DII, maybe i would like it on the M5 instead as a ~50mm (equivalent) rather than an 80ish (equivalent). for context, i also have a 35IS which i used with the Canon EF-M adapter, but i would prefer that the 35IS be on the 6D2 instead.

Pressed the M50 into service when I discovered the backup battery for the 7D2 in my pocket was actually not charged. Plenty happy with the outcome capturing this vintage Harlow.
