A gust of wind blew some snow off the trees, barely had any time to get a couple of shots off. Of course, once I was ready, the wind died down again. Pretty danged cold for April.

I went outside and into the back garden this morning to play with the Paper Wasps on our Sacred Bamboo Shrub.

Cheers

Took these in my backyard today. First time I've used the 100-400 with adapter on the R. I'm really happy with the results.

Just curious what everyone is using for sensor cleaning? Seems I got a dust bunny in the middle of my sensor that is very resistive to the bulb blower. Is there a wet kit I can get off b&h that is recommended? It's been a long time since I've swabbed a sensor.

Got this kit from Amazon

It's been a while since I got out to shoot. On the way to the sunset shoot it started to rain but kept going. After the rain stopped I was blessed with some pretty colored clouds.

Pointed my R strapped to a guided telescope again (this time with additional guiding) and took about an hours worth of one minute exposures. I may be asking a little bit too much from this set up. I used a short 600mm f/7.5 celestron refractor. Pretty heavy crop and not the best data or processing of said data. :-)

Edit: forgot to say what this was, grand design spiral galaxy, messier 51 aka the whirlpool :)
