Starting a new thread for those, like me, who love landscapes with nature trails. I did a search for any pre-existing thread like this but didn't find one. By "Nature Trail": hiking or walking trails in natural environment with no access by any motor vehicles.

As a starter, I'll begin with the post, "Stairway to Heaven," aka "Alpine Ridge Trail," in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Each time I visit the park, I always stop by this trail for a hike up to the top.

Wow, been to Zion NP but didn't even know such a trail existed, not that I'd have taken this on. Looks quite arduous.

Love the thread idea!

Here's my not-quite-daily walking trail, admittedly it's kind of just a snapshot on a day I was particularly uninspired...

The Inca Trail is positively ripe with awesome opportunities for these shots.... I went looking for one shot in my collection and found a lot more.

(BTW, if anyone is considering this particular adventure, I highly recommend a 5-day trek over the standard 4-day. Gave me a lot more time to enjoy the sights! And don't skimp on bringing camera gear ;-)a )
