If paid photography weren't dead for me for god knows how long I'd pull the trigger.

This isn't something I'd ever pull out for personal use.

yeah, If I just had spare cash laying around, it would be fun...but that lens is massive...I would rather replace my 135L...105 is just too close to 85 for me.

It's a lot of fun to use and you can get really creative with the thin depth of field, but I'm sure your 85 does most of what you'd use a lens like this for anyway.

Oh yeah I'm intrigued by the DOF and switching things up in terms of FOV. Maybe/probably one day when I'm doing more serious portraiture again.

So sonyrumors started a whrilwind of speculation regarding a Curved Medium format sensor and 5 lenses.

Anyone else seen a separate source?

I would be very interested in this

If anyone was on the fence last time, the 105 Art is a great deal again at B&H ($430 off).

That's cheaper than what I payed at Adorama when they had a deal late last yr. Personally I think we will see more deals due to shut downs.

Idaho's Whitewater is coming in. This is where I'd like the Tammy 70-180. I pulled over to grab some shots of this group coming through. All with the Sigma 56/1.4(85mm equiv).

That last photo, I have never seen anyone on a board like that in rapids. I have seen some upright on SUPs and think they are crazy. I guess I am too far north of my 20's to even consider something like that. That Tamron would be great for that location.

Made some Buffalo Cauliflower Bites this weekend from a recipe on "America's Test Kitchen". These were SO good :-)

We're seeing more and more people running inflatable SUP's down the river. We have two. My wife never really took to kayaking but has been having a lot of fun on the iSUP past couple years. Very challenging to make it though without falling off!

Here are my premium 'headphones'. I can connect to my Galaxy S10e, TV, or computer via Bluetooth for my audio needs. I don't get Dolby Atmos or DTS-X though. :-)

We spent a really long weekend at the cabin. Still very much like winter there the first 3 days=heavy rain and mornings in the 30's.
Here's a shot from the front 'yard' of my first female Bufflehead at 37F this morning.

I thought about putting it on the quarter but I'd already done that on another image. :-)

Poof and I enjoyed eating out last night. Shoney's is one of my favorites for salad bar.
There were restrictions of course but nice to see the little restaurant chain fighting to stay afloat.

That's insane! Today's deal is $1169 which is actually even better than the deal I jumped on (but it comes out even with the taxes I saved). It's an absolute steal at this price. I have noticed even my EDU savings have gotten a little worse with the COVID situation. The 24GM went up about $50 and the A7RIII jumped $300!

Yeah that's a great price, I see them on sale swell here in Canada at some retailer, roughly right the same price as in the US once you factor currency conversion, shipping etc. I paid significantly more late last year.
