Finally caved and bought the Battery Grip. Wish they offered it with or without the charger to bring cost down. Oh well...

For those who I have it, how long does it take to fully charge the two batteries from “almost dead” using the included charger? I suppose if it is markedly quicker than the regular charger it does add some value.

Pictures just because and while there is no way to prove it, they are the first two pics taken with battery grip attached. Shot with RF 15-35mm, sadly it still isn’t in the list...

Can anyone help me with this. When I’m in Fv mode and I set it to a custom shutter, iso or aperture it goes away if I bump the d pad and everything returns to auto.

Go to the custom settings for buttons. Change the D-Pad to some other function.

I have the left side set to Menu, the bottom set to Eye AF, the right set to underlined AUTO, and the top set to AUTO without the underline (this one only resets the selected setting back to auto rather than all of them).

Just to add for clarification. It is that way by design. It is how you quickly reset Fv fcns to auto.

Makes sense. I just kept bumping it and Missing shots so it got annoying.
