Very enterprising, Gene - and it worked really well! That's quality.
Thanks. Boy, there were a lot of things to remember to do for each exposure but it added to the challenge.
Step 1- Release the advance lever on the film back.
- Advance film for the next exposure.
- Get a light meter reading.
- Set the aperture and shutter speed based on the light meter reading.
- Cock the shutter on the camera.
- Lock the start lever on the autoknips II (AKII)
- Set the delay time on the AKII
- Wind the AKII
- Cock the shutter cable plunger
- Adjust the shutter cable support to hold in place.
- Hold the end of the prefocus string.
- Release the AKII start lever.
- Move to the focus area, holding the string at the corner of the eye.
- Pose and wait for the timer to take the exposure.
- Repeat the above.
