We have a friend who comes in once in a while looking for some nuts. Friendly we can hand feed him.

That's a cute fox.

There are only a few foxes in my area and they are incredibly shy of people, which is understandable. I had to creep up from downwind while he/she was sleeping and even then it noticed me and ran off. Looks like it's been through quite a few battles.

Our family of fox live in a wild area behind our urban home. They have gotten to be pretty oblivious to people.
It's not a very large area so there isn't a tremendous amount of food for all of them. Hence the slender profile.
They will literally come up to the patio looking for food.
