Pollen usually winds up out of focus as huge, faint bokeh balls that rob images of contrast. Nice to see some actually focused and magnified.

I don't suffer but there is so much pollen around at the moment I think its keeping my cough going getting lodged in the throat.

Great shot Toby, like others I am suffering with the hay fever this year.

That is a captivating image, the detail, depth and tonality are quite lovely to look at.

They are anthers; I don't know their size but the centre of these flowers is 2mm, this image represents about 1.5 mm total.
