Pollen usually winds up out of focus as huge, faint bokeh balls that rob images of contrast. Nice to see some actually focused and magnified.

I don't suffer but there is so much pollen around at the moment I think its keeping my cough going getting lodged in the throat.

This is really amazing photography.
Nature and its beauty.
Thankfully never suffered from hay fever.
What's the size of those reddish things (sorry for my botanical ignorance) please?
Puts some perspective to it.
Imagine all those tiny balls loose up your nose. I can see why some dread the dreadedseason!

They are anthers; I don't know their size but the centre of these flowers is 2mm, this image represents about 1.5 mm total.
