Second and third are good, captured the action well. And from here on, you can say "this isn't my first rodeo" :-)

Thank you Capn Jack, very much appreciate the comments. :-) .

Nice. Did you strobe those? Great images and every time I go to a rodeo they're way darker than that. Did these last night just testing out my new camera.
I actually ended up going up with the ISO to 25,600 towards the end of the evening.

Good question. I was trying out a new camera and just set it to shutter speed priority (I think around 1/1000) and let it go from there. Didn't mess with white balance, or aperture. Then whenever the camera hit 2.8 I upped the ISO just to see how the night went. Ended up the night with ISO of 25,600 I think. Not normally how I'd shoot but again just playing with my new toy. These two were at ISO of 25,600 I think.

I went to a Mesquite Pro Rodeo once to shoot. Yvan Jayne is a friend of mine. It appeared to me that the people who were shooting for the rodeo and a ton of strobes up in the ceiling some they were lighting them with. Looked like a cool set up but a bit (a bunch) out of my budget.
