We were fortunate to have stormy skies for nice atmosphere on the trip. It makes for a classic black and white in my eye, and I actually set the camera to shoot in black and white to help visualize the tones better, the trick was waiting for the light through the clouds to be just right to highlight the brighter portions of the peaks.
