Manfrotto MBAG80P (P for padded) tripod bag.
It is a little long but still convenient to carry Alpha camera and 200-600 with hood in shooting position.
Strap over shoulder I find it very comfortable. For rougher terrain strap cross body / shoulder, like a sling strap.

I have used it several times, and I love it...but I can't get past the price tag. And now that the MC-11 makes the 135L perform much better, I have decided not to pursue getting one right now. Especially since client work has vanished.

Very close to it :D

Can’t decide between that and the 85. Was looking through all my 135L photos and it’s made me really want this

Yeah price is steep. Getting an unexpected tax rebate though so seriously considering blowing it on this. Life’s short :)

I've used the 135GM a few times too.

Unless you're a heavy 135mm user now or need really fast AF out of a 135MM, I honestly think the Sigma makes more sense for the money

Dang

Not in the market for it but $600 bucks for the Sigma 35 1.4 art is not bad

So funny...we are not getting the whole stimulus payment that the US government came up with...and we have to pay big this year after cashing out some investments last year...but if I was getting a fat check...I would be buying a Mamiya RB67...and a few lenses...and I still might be...

the 135Gm is insanely fast and accurate. It really is a nice lens, but you really need to use it a lot to justify that cost.

Thanks.

The Surface Book is MS's hybrid model, so it's got laptop internals and a dedicated GPU in the keyboard base (along with a second larger battery)...so it runs all C1, LR, and all the various photo apps just fine. Surface books are pricey once you start getting the specs up....but having a touch screen on a full fledged machine and a proper operating system has been really nice. Surface Pen and dial are game changers for post work.

I finally looked at the different surface options. The Surface Studio are the ones I liked but lot more $$. Guess 16" MBP will be good enough. Or buy cheaper windows laptop. Trying to avoid going with windows after using MAC/Linux for last 6 plus years. My desktop is still windows.

Interesting about all this new gear talk. I’m not really looking to acquire anything new. I just want the opportunity to go out shooting again. Until then, I will live vicariously through each of your lens purchases.

I’ll check the sigma out, hadn’t even considered it. I was just looking at the GM since I had the 16-35 and waiting on the 24 arriving. I’m not a portrait shooter by any stretch of the imagination but I just know I loved my 135L shots and I will find use cases for it

no doubt...I really want to get out. I might take my daughter on a short adventure next week since school is out. The lcoal place that I want to go shoot some at is still closed. I have a seriously itchy shutter finger...
