I switched to uncompressed RAW and that helped resolve the pixelation issue when shifting with my Canon 24TSE. Would like to try using the MC11.

Interesting. I'll have to experiment with that the next time I take my TSE-24 out.

I hired the 100-400gm for the last week. Would love one of these, or try the 200-600

I checked and it seems 17 TSE is the worst on Fuji. Even 24mm TSE is bad which is surprising to me. Also not happy with how well these TSE work on Sony either. Again all this from reading various forums.

I can't speak for Fuji as I just received my first Fuji today. With Sony, I have no issues with it. I just prefer a zoom lens for my RE work.

I actually really miss that lens. It was the sort of lens that got me really excited about landscape photography. I often consider trying another copy

Quick question to all:

Does anyone use an iPad Pro as their main editing rig with Lightroom and use an external hard drive for their catalog storage? Basically loading photos from your camera through Lightroom while saving it to an external hard drive. I’m wondering if this can be an option. I love to edit with a touch screen a lot more these days and am trying to figure out if this can be an option for me with the next redesign of the iPad Pro releases.

I had the iPad Pro 1TB and found it almost impossible to transfer from the iPad to connected storage so ultimately gave up on it . If that was smoother I would have maybe held on to it

Ok

I like the new lens ..... I had it on the monopod (need to figure out if i should put it on setting 3 .... I had it on one this way) but it didnt get too heavy. I had the 100-400 on the 7r4 on a belt but only pulled it out later in the day and switched the A9 from the 200-600 and put the 7r4 on it. I love the imaging with the R4 of course but focusing was easier on the A9.

Both very similar tone wise but version 2 seems more vibrant. Im probably leaning towards version 1 though as it looks more natural to me.

In order, I'm not on my editing machine just my laptop but if the sun was warm and late in the day the second one if not the first. They are pretty close but it's hard to tell here.

I keep coming back to this one, it is so very simple, so very basic, but I just can't leave it on the cutting room floor. It was the very first composition of the DV2020 trip, I had not noticed these layers line up like this last year. 3 Image pano @ 70mm each image.

Hello Sony users. I hope this is the right thread to post this. I'm hoping you can help me with a decision I'm trying to make
I've been using a Canon 6d for the past 5 years and as much as I loved shooting with it, I'm ready to make the jump to a Sony mirrorless camera.

Im looking at getting the A7ii with the 28-70mm kit lens, as this fits my budget perfect. I would love the A7iii, but that's a bit out of my budget right now.

I've been researching the past couple days and going back forth If I should pull the trigger or keep my 6d and get a better lens. I have the nifty fifty right now. I really love the images that comes out of the A7ii and the eye focus system and body image stabilization intrigue me.
But a few review videos I've seen say that the AF system is horrible and so is the low light capabilities and some say that it's just fine. I take mainly portraits and no sports and action, aside from my family and 4 year old.

So any input would really help with my decision. Thanks for hearing my out guys.

I need to check that on my pictures as I think I am using public.

You can set permissions for each photo. I don't usually do it for privacy, more for boring reasons.
eg, photos embedded to POTN for explanation or Pixel Peeping purposes.
Permission will be 'Public' by default. You also have more options than just Public or Private and you can change at anytime.
