today saw the most number of different birds I've seen around the garden
Wrens galore including a male in nearly full colour, Golden Whisler, Silvereye, Little Wattlebirds, Magpies, Crows, 'A Hawk' - still identifying that, Cranky Fans, Yellow-throated Honeyeater, Kookaburras, and then on the dam two types of ducks, Black Swan, Grebes (plus a few Platpyus )

Pippan it's not too bad being on 90 acres, but outside that it's different
Yes it's very nice when these decide to visit.
Just interesting how birds interact.
In the callistemon with the Silveye were Cranky Fan, wrens and a Wattlebird. Amazing to watch.

This lovely family (Mum, Dad and little girl) popped in for a visit and to enjoy the Hakea tree, the seeds are very hard but these bird make short work of them.

Really beautiful birds and photos.
Assuming similar nature to our variety these big beauties are fascinating to watch.

One of the cockatoos that visited our place today. He came walking towards me for some food.

Kookaburra flew out of some scrub when I went past - hopefully just sparrows in there

they really are awesome - a riot of colour and overflowing with character

I noticed movement in the tree and saw this Butcher Bird peering intently down to the ground.
It stared motionless for ages then flew off

Plenty of white tailed black cockatoo which making a hell of a racked in the Yanchep NP

More Lorikeet antics they have so much fun frolicking in the drinking dish....
