I found in my garden a nest of almost wild cats. There are five kittens. Four black-white and one black. Mom is completely black

I have a stray female whch is heavily pregnant that has turned up at my place, I am feeding her. My resident female is not at all impressed with this situation.

I would suggest it’s worth getting in contact with your local cat rescue to see if they can help.

Hope all goes well :-)

Trixy
2008 to 2020

She passed away March 9, she had lymphoma that developed in her left sinus. My wife and I still cry everyday. We rescued her when she was about 9 months old, lucky that my wife was at a farm feed store in rural King County outside Seattle getting bird seed. The county animal control was doing adopt a kitten promo. Trixy was in the arms of the volunteer totally enjoying being held, my wife just had to have her. We brought into a household with 4 Balinese. She fit right in. She was the most engaged and affectionate kitty. A shining light, a happy, positive soul. Ten plus years of love from her. So sad.

Lenny hanging out on the floor. Carl prefers to be above it all, but Big L here likes to just lay down wherever.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your friend. A lot of feline love, and human love, can transpire in twelve years.

We certainly enjoy and get attached to our cats. Sad for your loss.

She was beautiful.
Always tough when they go.
Sounds like you've got plenty of fond memories to cherish.
Nought wrong with a good cry.

So sorry to hear. She looks beautiful there. We've lost many more than we have right now (3) and it doesn't ever get easier, nor should it, because we love them all. May you experience peace in knowing you adopted her into your loving home and helped her life be a happy one.

Another black and white? Here's Bigfoot, out on the prowl. He is one of the most affectionate cats that ever adopted me.
