This year's Pebble Beach Concours has been postponed because of the Covid-19 outbreak - the same featured marques / invited cars that had been planned for this year will instead be presented next year, in August 2021.

What a glorious site - 'as far as the eye can see...'

I have a plastic model kit of that car I put together. Very impressive pic of the real thing!

Interesting cutout on the grill looks a bit like a face? And 10 liter? That's 610 cubic inches for us Americans.

It reminds me of when a Bugatti racing driver complained to Bugatti himself that although the car went like the wind it didn't break well at all due to the bad braking system.

The only reply given was that his Bugattiis were meant to go fast and not meant to slow down!

My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!

It is fitted with a 10-litre Hall-Scott aero engine with a horsepower output of around the 100hp level (that's what I seem to remember from my brief chat with the pilot/driver but don't quote me!). The "face" is an homage to the 1921 Fafnir team cars, which featured distinctive ‘faces’ on their radiator cowls and a clown’s hat radiator cap.
The event was the annual Kop Hill climb and they generally have a couple of these monsters at each event.

Only 100 HP from a 10 liter? I'd bet the torque had to be much higher?
