Chris,

This (#2) is one of my favorite color tones, but admittedly I haven't had a lot of success using it on photos I take--I am very proud of the shots I take and stand behind them, but this tone has always alluded me to the point I can "repeat" it reliably...and I don't know why. One would think there a "by the numbers" to it (not your photo, that's a great shot, just the basic color). Anyway, any tidbits of what you do for this look would be appreciated.

BTW - I have gotten this look before, but I really like yours.

I love this shot. Her lips are slightly parted. This happens to me all the time. I try to coach my subjects out of it. Only about half are able to manage it without it ruining their expression though. With your subject she has braces so probably the best she could do.
I love the composition and her partner in the background. So cool. I wish I had more non business stuff to show.
