Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Covered/Under Cover. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Show us something that is Covered or Under Cover..

Here are the rules:
1. Shots need to be taken between Tuesday, after the new theme is posted and the following Monday by sunset (Whenever that is for you). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!
2. Post your shots at any time during the week.
3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them) but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: IMAGE POSTING RULES
That's it! Have fun! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.
An index to previous weeks can be found here: POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it!
Have fun!

Thank you both. It was good, and there are two more in the pan.

Available light from window, late afternoon. I'm baffled by the blown highlights on the plate and the food, when nothing looked white in reality. Part of the plate, cropped out, had some even more blatant big ones. I used EC to compensate but really needed to compress the histogram.

That looks gooooood!

I love the green onions ..... just wish they weren't so expensive.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

With our lockdown rules limiting how far we should go for exercise, has been interesting to find different places to walk within coee of home - this is my family discovering a pathway behind my eldest son's school (that none of us had explored before)

I waited all week for someone to do a covered face shot. Surprised no one did it, so here's mine from a trip to the nursery this morning for some more starts for the garden.

We placed our order a week ago. Had appointment for the pickup time, put a check in the little wooden box, and loaded the plants into the car.

Around here none of the nurseries have green bean starts. They're as scarce as TP was a month ago.

It's weird what is available and what is scarce! We started our garden back in February, but something ate everything .. Restarted again at the beginning of March and most stuff was sold out, we have an odd assortment of things growing

I start pole beans from seed every year, having let a few pods mature on the plants in earlier years. The catch is, they have to be started indoors to avoid getting snipped by cutworms (larvae of noctuid moths).

When a buddleia comes into bloom, its many buds are slowly uncovered.

We planted pole bean seeds and sunflower seeds this year. It appears about 2/3rds will make it.
