Thanks, luck to have them so close to my house...

In the back garden, a blackbird keeps a lookout for our cat before he swoops in for some food.

Shot at 300mm f/6.3 on an old Sigma 28-300 zoom POS of a lens, passive adaptor so manual focus, fun with it's ~30ยบ range :-P

Actually, that fish is the red-gilled swoop, a cousin of the piranha. It eats the soft part of the Anhinga's tongue and mouth as a staple of its diet.

Great shot - very few people actually catch the swoop during feeding.

I have the X-T4 on order, but since it hasn't arrived I was "stuck" using the X-T3. :-)

The day before it seemed we would have a nice sunset so I grabbed my tripod, a ladder and head out near my house. Same location as before but sky is better. I think I need a taller ladder though.

The Cygnets up a bit closer today, almost dropped my camera in the lake but luckily it was strapped on to me. Phew.
