I am loving Lightroom and Photoshop but there is a quark that is driving me nuts.

I have many photos on Lightroom (Online version) with "Albums" (called collections on Lightroom Classic (Desktop version) and the ability to work with them remotely is very nice.

Begin Rant.

BUT......rotation.....if you correctly the rotation for a picture and the thing syncs, the rotation gets flipped back next time you look at it. This is a real PITA. I am planning on ordering a Photobook with BLUB, but am concerned as soon as I hit send, the friggen photos are going to flip back to the incorrect orientation.

End Rant.

I have no idea... I've only been using Lightroom Pro* and not the mobile/online/light version.

But a question for you, please. Are you using the mobile version on a single phone, or are you going between devices (computer at home and phone on the road)? I'm just curious about how well (or not?) things are when going back-and-forth.

* = I agree that "Lightroom Pro" would have been a better name. It has many features that professionals need and use that the light version doesn't have. Credit: This description came from a video interview with Scott Kelby (by Unmesh Dinda) and can be seen at this link:

The naming scheme of Lightroom is just NUTS..>LOL....

Yes, was using on my iPhone and MacAir. It syncs great and easy to use. You can edit a photo and when you get to your home machine, the edits are there! Even though the cloud image is just a low resolution copy you can still correct color etc.....the cropping stays but the rotation just is not stable. I have read about this a few places, and has something to do with doing a rotation while the system is doing a sync.

One of those things Adobe will quietly fix in the background at some point I guess.

Aronis.
The Marketing team at Adobe could make this Marketing Naming blunder all good.
Lightroom for years, (LR 6, LR5....) is now Lightroom Classic
Lightroom , should be named Cloudroom
Lightroom Mobile should be Mobileroom
