Jun 05, 2020 17:27 | #518 I looked out my window & saw this guy on my porch. I brought him in, fed him & let him rest while I got an enclosure ready for him. Took a yellow Dahlia out of the garden for a few shots then put him in his enclosure. Image hosted by forum (1048506) © Pigpen101 [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Jun 05, 2020 19:04 | #519 After taking the shot above, I went outside to catch another. There are now 2 species all around my house. The dark one above & a lighter colored one. The lighter colored ones are a faction the size of the black one. For all I know, they may just be a younger version of the black ones. Anyhow, much smaller & a whoooooooole lot quicker. Not a great image, just more of a documentary shot. Image hosted by forum (1048512) © Pigpen101 [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.

I'm glad I shot this in RAW, it's belly was in complete shadow & was able to bring back a little. I posted the second shot because it's the best view of it's fangs that I got. The white things you see all over the eyes and face are some scales left over from the moth I had just fed him. Image hosted by forum (1048585) © Pigpen101 [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW.
