Ah, but is it land locked or does someone know more than we do and when the next flood is due :eek::eek:

It certainly needs some TLC.

Yup, and it appears to be in fair shape.. Perhaps it has some expensive-to-repair flaw that the owner couldn't and can't afford.. It's parked in the back half of an old farm that's not occupied.

Ah, that splains it. Farmers don't get rid of anything.

Not forgotten, but definitely abandoned. All that's left of the Council City and Solomon River Railroad. Been sitting near Nome since 1907.

Lots of them across outback Australia too. So many memories. Pretty funny short film about outback bush mechanics here (external link). Nothing is wasted!

Experimenting with different effects in Lightroom. The first pic is a 1970 Cadillac DeVille posing as Stephen King's Christine. The old Chevy pickup is parked in an abandoned motel (except for the cat) on Route 66 in Truxton, AZ. I wanted to give it a scorched desert look.

Interesting.
Has the tree leant up against that old truck?
Certainly not going anywhere.
