Could not find a thread for this on its own. So let me start with what I have. Taken last year in May, Grand Coulee Dam.

The other side, Grand Coulee dam. It was interesting to find out from the dam tour, that the electricity generation was just a bonus for the dam operation. Apparently they said the irrigation supply pays for everything. Also pre 9/11 anyone could drive onto the dam.
