England never looked better! Beautiful shot.

Thanks. Can't wait to get out a bit more!

For the price of the 21 3.5 voigtlander you cant beat it. Shot at infinity or did you do a stack ? Great job

Ummmm..... Nearer infinity. I wouldn't have the patience to focus stack this type of image with the CV even without it being windy! They focus breath quite a bit.

Looks vaguely familiar ;)

It should.

You know you appreciate my backyard more than I do. Really looking forward to your
Milky Way shots from there.

When you have something like that in such close proximity you can begin to not see it for its unique qualities. Or so I am told.

Do you by chance know Larry Jarrett, AKA Hiker Trash.

I only got one good shot of the MW. It was all I needed.

Just a quick shot from yesterday. This is the area where I photograph Osprey. Right now to the right of the picutre, there are at least ten nests that I know of this year and the air is filled with the cries of rapidly growing chicks, some of whom have started to fly. I am on the Richmond side of the Richmond-San Rafael bridge (a bit of an unnerving drive actually). San Quentin prison is right on the opposite shore here, barely visible at the end of the bridge. The area where the nests are is an abandoned Naval base and Chevron refinery. The peak is Mt. Tamalpias, a very nice state park.

Ended up hiking another 7.5 miles today, these were two of my favorites. You'll be surprised to hear they were taken with the Loxia.

My Sony ZV-1 and blue-tooth enabled grip arrived today. I don't shoot video often but have been frustrated in the past by not being able to see the LCD screen. For what little I do shoot, I'm hoping this camera will meet my needs.

I was surprised by just how tiny this camera is.

I just had the thought today which I think would be hilarious. Imagine if the A7SIII was like the Nikon DF and was pure stills with no video feature at all but was next level for low light :-P unlikely to happen but would certainly be funny to see!

The mossy rocks look treacherous to walk on.

It was definitely a slick walk! I kept putting my camera back in the bag after each location for fear of falling with it.

Caught this little guy this evening in deep shadows near the creek behind our house.

That is so cool Gene. Congrats! I’ve got to watch some videos to learn more about that interesting camera.
