A lovely variety of Water Lillies at a lake I visited the other day in Cornwall. Here are 2 of them in full bloom.

They have to be amongst the most beautiful flowers on this Earth. Good thing the manking hasn't tried to improve on them and screw them up as has happened to lots that the 'experts' have fiddled with.

Lovely shot against the fence too Ken.

I don't think you're supposed to sit on them, Richard.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

I guess I’ll post a photo of our “yard monster “, and guests.

This grows just out kitchen window and is a great joy for us, and especially my wife who doesn’t get around as well as in younger days. :)

That's a lovely photo PR. Both feeding and sated.

See Richard, look at just how beautiful your terrors are and the butterflies and the bees love them. So what's not to like 8-)

More from Westonbirt Arboretum.

Chinese Bean tree flowers. Just shows that some nice things come from there too?

I guess these beauties are a little like lovely ladies. Lovely to be around and enjoy. But when there is a room/field full of them it can get a we bit sticky. :)

Thanks John

HaHa. John the problem is not in isolation.
Like Park Ranger said, get a room full (paddock) of them and they are a right.. #$#@.
They breed prolifically and consume land that moos and baas need to feed all the hungry mouths in Britain. :p

Your other flower is a herb Valerian. Yes we have that too :-P
Results from multiple studies indicate that valerian — a tall, flowering grassland plant — may reduce the amount of time it takes to fall asleep and help you sleep better. Of the many valerian species, only the carefully processed roots of the Valeriana officinalis have been widely studied. However, not all studies have shown valerian to be effective, and there may be some dangers.

Before you decide to take a valerian supplement for insomnia, consider the following:

I won't be experimenting with that though :-P
