Thank you Mike! You are a true gentleman.

Thank you very much fotoi. I'm going to tell my wife you said that. She'll be totally floored in disbelief!

Lame-Duck, thank you for your comments. I was excited to see how well my new 100-400mm and 1.4x extender perform.

Fantastic shot, Shalu!

Thank you very much, Mike!

Fantastic detail Shalu.
How does one differentiate between male and female of these kites?

Thank you very much, Neal! I only know the female is a bit larger than the male when side by side, hard to tell when they are separate.

Very 'cyclops' in appearance, unique angle.

Thank you very much, Robert!

Mike (and other Canon shooters), have any of you used the Reikan FoCal software for making your micro-adjustments? If you haven't and can, you should really look into it. I own but no longer am able to use it shooting Sony. It improved my output from my Canon equipment tremendously. Unfortunately, it is tied to me and can't be transferred to another owner.

Thank you Bill. I will definitely look into the Reikan FoCal. I appreciate your advice.

What an awesome shot, Bill. Getting perfect exposure on the white egrets and the green foliage is no easy task. You nailed it.

Fantastic family portrait shot, Shalu!! How in the world did you get so close to this nest? It looks like you are at eye level, right there with them!!

Thank you very much, Mike! The nest is about 140 feet away. It is about eye level when shooting from the bridge. Here is a photo of the nest from the bridge taken with my phone.

Sha these really are incredibly beautiful, detailed and sharp.
To see that tiny wasp so clearly from that distance in the top photo speaks volumes about the lens and sensor plus your ability to hold it all.
Mind blowing image quality.
