First post in the longest time, here is a very cute New Zealand native, Zosterops lateralis the silvereye, or Tauhou, as it is referred to in Maori. It is a small bird, 13g, 12cm long. They are locally quite common, and tend to hang out in small flocks. Here it is feeding on an aloe native to Africa, in Wellington, New Zealand. Enjoy!

A couple from this weekend: a Bush Stone Curlew (Burhinus grallarius) and one of the wild Rainbow Lorikeets (Trichoglossus moluccanus) that regularly visits our deck.
