Sunset at Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. I don't usually include people in my landscape photos but I think it worked well enough here.

Outstanding shot. I looked at the shot info and see 20 mm with a 24-105, then your Flickr page has a 16-35, so maybe POTN having a problem getting EXIF data.

Bristlecone Pines, my latest favorite photo subject. Unfortunately they've closed the road and now it's a grind getting up there. Keeps the crowds down anyway - to zero, apart from me.

Yup, it's called Mt. Goliath. About 3 miles beyond the road closure. Pretty cool, many photos possible, when I get home I always feel like there's still another shot in there somewhere that I've missed, which is actually kind of a good thing.

"Worked well enough?" :-P I think it's perfect! I couldn't find anything wrong with this if I tried. Oh, and I tried. The exposure for the water is perfect. The sky is perfect. The placement of the person is perfect. The comp is perfect. The timing of where the Sun is in the shot is perfect. The actual site and location is perfect. The sun star from using the correct aperture is perfect. You nailed it.
