Interesting, is that rail track creating the boundary? I thought you had so much space down under there was never a need for this type of dense building.

Wow.

This picture really shows us the changes in the brightness of the sky.
Very nice shot. Thank You.

Thanks!
I created this from about 6 images stitched together. It is close to 180 deg's.
I chose to not compensate the exposures specifically so the sky would be as close to how it looked at the time I took these shots.
This was late afternoon, a couples hours after a Sierra Summer Thunderstorm had passed through. There was still a bit of moisture in the air, thus the gradiated lighting.

This doesn't look that much like a panorama, but it is, it's 3 images shot at 17 mm. Should have been 4, a little bugged with myself for not quite catching the left edge of the lake.

Thanks. It's a scenic location, although I usually feel like I haven't gotten it right, doesn't seem to photograph that well for some reason (might just be me). It's a lake in the James Peak Wilderness, around 11,500', not far from St. Mary's Glacier.

6 Portrait-orientation shots @ 70mm L-R - suspect some of the birds appear more than once
