Thanks.
Great story behind this one.
Two friends, my son in the picture, and I had just come down off the top of Half Dome. We were the only 4 people up there. This is the view we got to enjoy as we headed back up the trail to where we were camped.

What an absolute gorgeous view you had!!

This is part of the Grand Canyon isn't it?

...or luck.

I count the seconds in between strikes and hold my remote open, hoping for the best.

During good storms you can get a lot of shots easily.

Tonite was not so great. No consistency, and the storm was a kind of far away, across the border in Mexico.

These are crops.

Thanks for the kind comment.

Never been able to get something like these. Like them.

When we moved here, we used to watch the lightning between
us and the Huachucas. And listen to the coyotes.

When I was a kid living in the same town, it seems like we had more lightning storms then than we do now.

I always LOVED watching and listening to lightning/thunder storms!!

Coyotes?? Not many of them around here... ever!! :p

Thought I would show the difference between the images, the second image has been Edited on Photoscape X, by clicking the HDR option. What do you think?
