Craig that is very interesting thanks.
The stuff of dreams.
Amazing finds.

Glad you like, Richard.

I found the series by accident, yet I find each episode fascinating.
They've touched on some of the cars not commonly considered classic,
such as the Mazda RX7, and others of a lateral viewpoint.
Each episode is fun to watch in my estimation, with Tom Cotter being
a very likeable host to myself.

Of course I'm all right! Why? What have you heard?!?

Wow. Oh wow,. There's something about an exposed carbon-weave body
that's just really super-cool to look at.

What lens was used for this? I think the distortion on the bottom-left is kinda funny. If the car was centered in the frame, seems like that would eliminate it.

QUOTED IMAGE

While it's not of my personal preference of automotive types or styling,
I have to admit that this is a rather cool-looking ride.

Yes, me too. I'll bet they measure those things in cubic dollars instead of cubic inches.

That is one huge machine.
Agree on comments, but I admire it's rather elegant stance.
Looks very well presented.
What's under the bonnet, hood?

Is that a gas cylinder in the boot, trunk?

I love that! And mostly I love that style of modification to that style of car.

Very nice series, Michael! Love the lines on those Riveras!

Richard - I'm guessing those tanks in the trunk are for raising / lowering the vehicle ... ie 'low-rider'. Probably hydraulic fluid?

A couple of years ago there was a very good exhibit of Low Riders and that whole culture, at the Petersen Automotive Museum in LA - they had some examples that were just mind-blowing. All of the attention to detail... even the wheel wells and the undersides were "done", on some of them.

I saw what was under the hood, but, while it was done up, it was a tad understated when compared to the rest of the car. Not sure what it was, tbh. lol

The tanks in the back are for his hydraulics suspension system.

If you Google 1966 Riviera, this car will probably pop up along with a build sheet.

And 0-60 figures in gallons of fuel, not seconds. ;-)a
