avondale87 thanks for whoever started this More info | Jul 16, 2020 16:01 | #63695 MatthewK wrote in post #19094097 Peak action capture, very nice! Great color and clarity of both the heron and the water. What did it end up catching? Nice play between light and shadow, how the tail of the bird is lit against the shadow-side of the brick building. And of course, your choice of bird is perfect, I can't get over the bronze eye shadow of the female Fairy Wrens Top notch, Richard, thank you for the share! Thanks Matthew much appreciated. That eye makeup is very well done on the girls edmidlifecrisis wrote in post #19094262 Lovely shot Ed.

Haven't been there since November and haven't been out much locally so mostly looking through untapped photos in my library for ones I missed the first time around....... Ed

Incredible sharpness in these two shots, SYS! Many thanks, Mike. I wouldn't have posted the shot of talons due to heavy crop and too much noise reduction applied, but I was astounded that only a 2-3 weeks old owlet could have talons developed like that.
