I love the angle of this shot and the one below in the other post. How high above the ground do you have the camera situated? Also, how far away are the skyscrapers? With the compression of the 200 mm, are these several miles away from your vantage point? Are you using a strobe or flash with soft box? I’d like to replicate this in my own area (Minneapolis) and would appreciate the suggestions/advice. Thank you!

Most of my shoots I will say 99% were taken from the ground. It is easier when camera is situated on the ground. No lifting and no injuries after long day shooting. I just need to mention also shooting from the ground creates awesome blurry ground bokeh as well :) which I love a lot! There is one disadvantage when shooting from the ground - how to focus and how to view object when camera doesn’t have "Flip Screen” I found for this good solution "camera angle finder” it is making shooting from the ground so easy. Those "camera angle finder” are so cheap and can be use for any brand of cameras.

Those skyscrapers are about quarter of mile away. I have been using external light (one light only) only one time so far (my last picture “the girl with the handbag”) I was trying to overpower the sun that day but unfortunately there was no sun at all that’s way background looks little bit dark. I hope I will get some sunny days in the future. I was using "CITI600 Manual Battery Powered Flash” at high speed 1/8000, full power 1/1 with standard reflector and honeycomb no soft boxes, umbrellas
