Took this shot waaaaay back in 1989, so before digital, those cool trees on that hill are now all gone, Taken on an Olympus OM1 with a Tamron 135mm f/2.8 lens, scanned off print.

Hi Pete. Nice shot, I had a pair of Olympus OM1s. My first SLR I loved it. For most purposes it replaced my Leica because I was able to buy a set of lenses for it without busting the bank, and the lenses were very sharp. I recently sold a few of them but didn’t get much for them, I wish l’d have kept them now. Still got the body though. I mainly used the Leica for b/w and colour slides after that.

I always loved the sunsets when I lived in Az oh so many years ago.
The dust in the air from the dessert west of Phx. made the most BEAUTIFUL colors!

We do get some amazing sunsets. Unfortunately the dust is being augmented by haze from the local wildfires.

Love the way the clouds echo the perspective of the buildings.
The colours all add to the beauty
