Husband & I were sitting outside yesterday, when we heard a noise from our wood shed. A weasel was checking us out!

I'm pretty sure it is not. I don't think caribou range as far south as Denver Probably a whitetail deer or a mule deer.

They don't, but I remember sometime in the early 2000s when I was living in that area, a caribou was hit & killed by a car. It was quite the mystery, but it was eventually determined that it was a domestic caribou that had gotten out of it's pen. But your picture just doesn't look like a deer to me. Maybe I just need new glasses! Lol!

No, he does look a bit strange with his antlers just starting to grow, and his ears twisted to listen to something behind him.

Also, animals go wherever they want. I remember, during my first week in Nebraska, I asked if there were animals unusual to me such as antelope, bison, elk, and so forth. I was told nothing like that lived in that part of the state. A week later, the local newspaper published a story about an elk running around the area around where I was working, with pictures. No one knew where it came from, or where it eventually went.

Wow, up until now something I had never heard of let alone seen pictures of. My first impression when I saw the photo were it's physical similarities between it and our Tassie Devils (a carnivorous marsupial). Having read up on the Bush Dog they have very little in common but both are amazing and unique little creatures.

It really is rare these days to capture a shot of a rhino with a horn in South Africa these days so I was really excited when I got to shoot a female and her calf, both with horns.

I always feel as though I’d won the lottery when I get a picture of a wild bear. Also enjoy seeing others bear pictures.

she has Mike. I'm a bit concerned she is only 9d in the shilling though.
Acts a bit 'strange' at times. Just stands in one spot for ages and gazes at anything, often me if I hang around long enough :-P

Ha...she kind of reminds me of myself.

Very attractive shot, Noah. It's kind of funny, but I'm getting so I can recognize an a9 image even before I see the EXIF data. I love the look of the images that camera produces.

What a superb shot, Jan. I love all the little water droplets all over this damselfly!
