Did I post this here? Maybe not; I think it was in the 'Classic Cars' thread.

There's a gobsmacker of an Auburn from the 2009 or 2010 Meadowbrook Concours D'Elegance

With a one-off Rolls-Royce that most poeple don't know of

And an eye-breakingly beautiful Delahaye that nobody's ever heard of unless you've seen the Transformers movies

I saw what was under the hood, but, while it was done up, it was a tad understated when compared to the rest of the car. Not sure what it was, tbh. lol

The tanks in the back are for his hydraulics suspension system.

If you Google 1966 Riviera, this car will probably pop up along with a build sheet.

thanks. My second Google took me right there :-)

I see what you mean about fuel consumption or consumption of fuel. Quite an appetite :-P

Craig you certainly have a seemingly endless supply of classics.
Beautiful and thanks for posting.

Not sure I'd bring those to an open field day for all and sundry to ogle and put sticky paws all over.

It's quite an impressive event, Richard.

I've been told that similar events at other locations
are FAR more restrictive than my local show,
keeping spectators much further away from the displays.
It's no different, even after their changing the location,
though I do miss the period Dodge Mansion as backdrop.

The only obstacles I've run into at these events is in trying to
speak with 'curators' of vehicles from significant collections,
such as the Peter Mullin Foundation and the collection of Ralph Lauren.
Those folks seem to be present for only security, and not inclined to
be able to speak with the public.
But the private owners who accompany their cars, they're the ones
who'll gladly spend a few minutes chatting with random admirers.
I may have had a 10-minute discussion with the owner of this Talbot-Lago,

IMAGE: https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/xq90/922/V1dwPa.jpg

and the owner of this 1925 Rolls-Royce seemed more than amenable to chatting,
IMAGE: https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/xq90/921/Zk09Vh.jpg

with the owner of this 1951 Allard K2 being friendly
IMAGE: https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/xq90/922/Y3H978.jpg

...all the way to the owner of this 1939 Bugatti Type 57C giving us an earful:

Wow. Awesome.
What more could one ask for but to wander about in that location!
Beautiful photos

It's beautiful, but unidentified.
Looks similar to an early-1900's Oldsmobile to me.
