If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

This seems to add to the confusion because as we have seen the early version can show the shutter count of the 7D2 but slightly later versions can't. I believe the 7D2 is one of the more difficult cameras to get a shutter count from because of the dual processor.

Strange how suddenly it becomes the cameras fault that the later focal versions cannot get the information.

Can't wait when car manufacturers start doing this, then try n make us pay more to turn on/off features. It's truly a race to the bottom.

As far as shutter counts and buying online: I had one individual actually photoshop a shutter count, then returned the camera to me, only for me to re-run the same software and basically they got a free 5dmkIV camera rental for a weekend. Stay far far far far away from ebay.

If it is the one by Dire Studios, they used to have a Windows version. I bought and have it. But they have discontinued the Windows version and only have a Mac version now.
