You shouldn't need a lightning trigger or have to worry about light pollution when capturing lightning at night. Just to a long exposure.

I was up on Power Rd before it turns into Bush Hwy. It's a nice spot to just pull over....despite the no parking signs they keep putting everywhere. I'll happily take a ticket to get my photo.

I have a cheap ring light. Never really messed with it either. I need to get a new macro lens first.
