Interesting. What side of the road do they drive on.
Looks like Raffety's Rules - anything goes

They drive on the left side....British style. This being a rural road it wasn't too congested. Once you get into the cities it is an entirely different story...it can be *very* congested. But, with a system of horn beeps (not the New York City blairing of horns) and "courtesy" they pretty well manage to make logic out of what appears to be a *very* chaotic mess. Rush hour traffic at a 5-point intersection with double lanes....all I can say is "WOW!!!!". For the eight days that we were there, traveling (with drivers) on two 4wd vans we were only in one fender bender. :-) And, driving from Entebbe to Kampala to Jinja and some side excursions well out into the countryside we encountered only TWO traffic lights and one policewoman directing traffic at a T-intersection. The traffic lights were interesting in that they had a count-down digital timer so you know when the light would be turning red or green...I can imagine what we would've use those lights for years ago. ;-)a

Thanks.
I know the digital image does tricks on perspective and draws things up closer. Just looked like there wasn't much room between road users.

Yes I can imagine how those traffic light counters would cause some interesting interactions, reactions. :-P

I was amazed, impressed how people in Oahu drove on multilane roads. Courtesy par excellence.
