It went from nothing/about to pack up the camera, to a good stretch of flashes, then it kinda died down so I ran home.

I have a bit of gratitude having live in an area where we just didn't get lightning because the pacific ocean moderates any weather imbalances; Here in Phoenix it's nice to see some action as it's been a good few months of boring weather, and I'm not gonna live here forever!!!!

Great stuff. I lived in Orange County and moved to Arizona about a year and a half ago. I love the clouds, sunsets and weather here. The wife and I stood outside yesterday during the beginning of a monsoon just to feel the cool rain. Your captures are fantastic.

Capturing those flashes is a great feeling, especially after an extended spell of boring weather. Nicely done.

Thanks!

So far it's been a pretty tame "monsoon" season here; A big GIANT high pressure area is parked over AZ keeping any/all monsoon moisture to the south. Sucks because I have ideas I hope to capture before I move on outta this place!
