This morning with the R5 and 600mm
Goldfinch on the Wild Flowers

Love the overall presentation of this. The bird and the flowers all make a very nice photo.
Looks like your new acquisition is serving you well.
I checked out some others of yours and was very impressed. These new cameras pack in the details.

Nice, Rob. I got my R5 too, but did not get the lens adapter...so it just sits in the box. I'll be anxious to see more shots from you.

Nice, I did not know you ordered one. I think you will really like it. The AEF tracking is really good. Sorry about the adapter, they seem to be out at most places. Keep checking the Canon store, they had some refurbished in stock.

Very nice, I'm assuming that you employed the 600mm with the adapter? Any suspected IQ degradation from using the adapter? Doubt it and certainly doesn't look it from your image, but would like your take on it, if you don't mind.

Surprised, didn't know R5's are available to ship. Since both you and Mike are birders, I'd love to learn about your impressions, particularly with regards to the eye tracking on fast moving birds and other features pertaining to birding. I'm definitely interested in upgrading.

Thanks. Absolutely no quality issues with the adapter. I used the adapter with the R also with no issues. The AEF tracking is outstanding, I used it a bit today and it was amazing.
