Looking east from the Hill of the Cross, Holguín Cuba. So why the rays of light? The sun was setting behind me.

thats beautiful and so typically Aussie. Lovely photo

Reminds me though of balmy nights eons ago on the banks of The Murray.
Sky lit up and the mossies descended.
They just love my wifes blood:-(
and we were stuck in a tent!

If I were stuck in a tent in your neck of the woods there would be more things than mossies I’d be worried about :-(

I took these photographs at Warren Dunes State Park on Lake Michigan all on September 13, 2009
What a beautiful day and night it turned out to be! There were a fair amount of people on the beach when we got there.

At this point the beach started clearing out. My wife and I walked around the beach for another 30 minutes or so, and in that 30 minutes the sky just changed to these brilliant colors! Oh what those other people ALL missed out on!! By this time my wife and I were the ONLY ones on that beach!!

Then 6 minutes after that we got THIS!!

What a spectacular night this turned out to be!!

Enjoy!!
